Terry O'Neal & Allen Feaster

Proposal at Stevie Wonder concert...
Happy New Year - 2009

Our Story

Allen invited Terry to dinner in San Francisco on her birthday which was July 8th. He bought Stevie Wonder tickets in May, but told Terry that he was going to take her to dinner for her birthday. Later that evening, Allen suprised Terry with cake, flowers, and balloons. They cancelled the dinner and went to the Stevie Wonder concert and she was ecstatic.

They arrived at the concert and Allen sent Terry to get the nachos (normally Allen would get the nachos). After Terry left, Allen stood up and made an announcement to the crowd at the concert that it was Terry's birthday and Allen took the ring out of his pocket and asked, "What hand do you put the ring on?" and all the women stood up and said the left hand and Allen said, "Are you sure?". Terry comes down the stairs and sees a large crowd of people surrounding Allen. The crowd separates from Allen while singing Happy Birthday and Terry sees Allen on his knees with the ring. A woman takes the nachos out of Terry's hand.

Then Stevie Wonder comes out on stage and Allen makes his proposal and puts a ring on Terry's finger and everybody was clapping and shouting for them. Allen was sweating bullets and needless to say Terry said yes.

Our Wedding

Surrounded by the warm, tranquil waters and energized by the fresh floral air, the natural beauty of the Hawaii Islands will make our romantic Mauii beach wedding a magical experience.

Rev. Ron Lowery ~ “The Maui Marrying Man” will peform our romantic ceromony on May 24th at sunset on the beach in Makena. We will Exchange our vows in Maui barefoot on the sand with the breathtaking turquoise ocean and orange glow of the magic hour streaking the horizon behind us.
Well, as it so happens, Allen, has the same birthday as Rev Ron Lowery "The Maui Marrying man What a coincidence! We can all celebrate together, ...two birthdays and a wedding all rolled into one!

We will download our wedding and reception photos to our website to share our experience with everyone.

Our Reception

We will celebrate our new lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Allen Feaster in a private romantic oceanfront setting at the Maui Prince Resort in Maken. We will spend our reception evening in true Hawaiian style Laua as the magic of Polynesia unfolds to the dance of ancient Hawaii -and fall in love again to the romantic presentation of the "Hawaiian Wedding Song".

Enjoy the ancient chants, the beauty and grace of the lovely hula girls; the rascal nature of the male hula dancers and warriors of New Zealand. Be mesmerized by the daring and skillful fire knife dance, the siva nifo oti.

Finally, the highlight of the night, the drums of Makena Luau reception party will feature an extensive menu consisting of Grilled Fish with Fruit Salsa and Ginger-Lime Butter, Stir-Fry Ginger Chicken with Vegetables and Char-broiled Teriyaki Steak. Sided dishes include Taro Rolls, Baked Molokai Sweet Potatoes, Portuguese Sweet Bread, Hawaiian Fried rice, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Poi and a bountiful salad bar.
