HOW WE MET!
Well we met through a mutual friend in high school. After I moved back from Florida we kinda got back in touch and a little after that we really got to know each other..we started dating and its been 4 1/2 yrs now!!!
THE PROPOSAL
WE GOT ENGAGED ON FEBUARY 9TH 2008!
HOW IT HAPPENED!!!
I can tell you right now it wasn't the whole traditional way, but i wouldn't ask for it any other way. It was on a Saturday. Kevin had been joking around with me the past 2 days about if I wanted t get my ring. Even when we were in the mall at the store he was like we can get it lol. Well I had a hair appt at 2:15 Saturday afternoon and he kept telling me he was going to go get it while I was gone. Of course I was like ok ya whatever lol..not thinking he would. So I had to come home for a little bit and sure enough he was gone so I called him and he said he was "on his way to get my ring" I was like ok. So anyways..I'm getting my hair done not knowin it was going to take about 5 1/2 hours (but it looks GREAT) he kept textin me asking if I was done cause we had to go get his playstation 3. The deal is he can get it once I get my ring so I figured he was still just messing with my head. So I get home and he's standing there smiling and I went to go look at my flowers and hoping there was a ring next to it..hehe..there wasn't so I asked him where's my ring TONS of times..and he kept saying what ring and laughting..He started playing in his pockets and I go is it in there and he goes what I go my ring and he goes Oh this!!! I lost it I started crying majorly lol...and I jumped and hugged him and he goes are you going to let me do this and I go no stll hugging him and crying so he whispers in my ear WILL YOU MARRY ME!?!?! and of course I said YES..and cried and cried and cried lol...he even did alittle bit..I dont think I could have wanted it any other way!!!
HERE'S HOW I FELT DUMB!
So after all was said and done. Kevin goes to me "Oh your mom knows too" and after he said that everythin was startin to come together. My mom had called me the Fri before askin me about a ring she has handed down to me about how I never wore it then she asked me my ring size..I told her cause i figured well she wants to see that it even fits lol...when really...she was askin for Kevin lol..and then when I was on the phone with her while I was waitin for a little bit before my hair and just got off the phone with Kevin she goes "Oh I got another call I got to go". Usually she will just call them back later but I didnt think nothin of it...here it was Kevin that was callin her...THEN...while I was getting my hair done she kept textin me if I was done yet and i just though she just wanted to see it when really she wanted to know if I got it lol...so yea i felt pretty stupid after actually thinkin about it but hey ...he didnt want me to know and mom was bein sneaky..but hey not they first time they planned something together...they did another thing with my xmas present(my most recent promise ring)last year lol...but hey its all good!!!
Our Wedding
Is goin to be B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! The color theme is Fushia and Orange and the flowers are Gerbera Daisies!! It will be help at the United Methodist Chuch right off of main street in Merrill! The ceremony will start at 4:00PM!
Our Reception
The reception will be help right across the street at the Merrill Civic Center. The menu is Broasted Pork Chops or Broasted Chicken, Mashed Potatos, mixed veagies and some salads that I can't remember right now! Cake to follow and over course endin the night dancin away!
