About two years ago, Valencia and Leonard aka, "Lovie" were introduced by a mutual friend. After only one outing, Valencia and Lovie pretty much knew they enjoyed each other's company; however, it took another year or so before they both decided to take their friendship to another level. Little did Valencia or Lovie knew they would be embarking on such a loving and spiritual based relationship. From the very beginning Lovie deeply desired to marry Valencia, but before he could propose marriage, he needed to see if she would be interested in becoming his wife or just remain close friends.

Just a few months into the courtship, Lovie asked Valencia if she would marry him; however, it wasn't until God gave her his blessing before she accepted his proposal. Valencia accepted Lovie's marriage proposal on October 17, 2008.

On Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 6:00 pm, Valencia Montgomery-Fletcher and Leonard Novell Crawford will officially become husband and wife. Their dearest friends, family members, and business colleagues are all welcomed to partake in this blessed union.

Both wedding ceremony and reception will be held at The Villa, 4060 Powder Mill Road, Calverton, MD 20705.
