As many of you know, Scott and I are high school sweethearts! We dated all throughout high school and the first few years of college. By our early twenties we went separate ways in life. Fast forward to our mid thirties where our paths crossed again and we began dating!! Almost immediately realization set in; we were meant to share our journey in life together! In May 2008, while vacationing in Mexico at an all inclusive resort, Scott surprised me when he proposed poolside!! The waitress delivererd a diamond engagement ring on a straw in the Mojito that Scott had ordered for me! This gesture of course made me cry happy teers (along with every other woman at the pool that day!). Once we were back home we shared the exciting news with the kids, our parents, other relatives and friends. As the seasons have changed many people comment on how wonderful it is to see both of us so happy! Well, we appreciate the observation. It is yet another confirmation that our reconnection is that of true soul mates!!! With Mitchel and Natalie in the mix, Scott has acquired an instant family (and a dog)! On the same token, the kids are benefiting from a fabulous man/step dad that enjoys spending valuable time with them!!! We are so looking forward to officially blending our lives and families together!!!!!!! Many eventful things are in the works for our blended family!!!!

We have chosen the Grand Riviera Princess for our wedding and honeymoon destination!
This luxurious, all inclusive resort is the tropical setting for our ceremony to take place on the beach, Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 4:00PM! This date is very special to us because it is the exact date that Scott proposed to me on last year!! To make our special occasion even more memorable we have extended a verbal invitation for family and friends to join us in Mexico!! Please remember while packing your suitcase; our ceremony's attire is "business casual" as we have a group dinner planned in one of the specialty restaurants at 6:00PM. Keeping in mind that most people will not be able to join us in Mexico, we are also planning a Summer BBQ / Reception in our hometown of Kingsley. We will do our best to recreate the fun and festivities here at home for all to enjoy! DETAILS: Saturday | June 27th | 6:30PM | 5394 E. Marsh Rd (Doug & Elaine Allman's beautiful home). Entertainment: Good food, music, dancing, karaoke, video and pictures of the happy couple!!! Some of which will date all the way back to high school! We hope to see you there...enjoying a warm summer with friends and family.
