Rachel on Ramsey:

I have loved Ramsey Tesch for six years. Even when we weren't together, I somehow knew that nothing else was meant to be like we were. Ramsey finally figured out that he just couldn't live without me (at least this is what I think happened!) and he called me up the day he left for the Air Force. He told me that he loved me even though we hadn't spoken or seen each other more than a handful of times in the last year or two at that point. We talked almost every day from then on... I began visiting him in Washington, and a week after he got back from his first trip to Iraq he yelled at me over the phone: "I'm your boyfriend and you're my girlfriend OK?!"
8 months (and 7 days) after he yelled at me to be his girlfriend, he proposed while we were out to dinner with his family! All I did was nod and cry and hug his shaking body. Ramsey and I somehow made it work despite the miles and miles between us, and I think that will be a huge part of what makes our marriage stronger than any other marriage in the history of marriages!!!


Ramsey on Rachel:

Please arrive at 1:30pm on Sunday, October 10th, 2010 to Mississippi Dunes Golf Links in Cottage Grove for our outdoor wedding ceremony! We are really hoping that we'll be blessed with a warm October day, but in case of chilly weather, please dress appropriately for the outdoors!

Also, we request that each guest brings a single flower to the ceremony for a special unity ritual!

We could not be more excited for a big wedding where all of our friends and family can come together to help us celebrate our love for each other! Thank you so much to everyone who is supporting our love through love, words of wisdom, gifts, and/or their presence at our wedding!

You won't need to drive anywhere after the ceremony for the reception!! Just walk up the hill to the clubhouse for hors d'voures, beverages, and other excitement before the dinner begins at 4:30pm!

We have a special request that each guest brings a single photo of friends or family of the bride and groom to the reception for a special wedding album that the guests will be creating for the newly married couple (that'll be us!!).

Also, please be prepared to dance the night away with us!! After our ceremony, we want nothing more than to spend the night celebrating the best way we know how; Shaking it, like a polaroid picture!!

Please let us know if you are flying in from out of town and need help finding a place to stay, food to eat, or places to party!! We want your visit to be as fabulous as our wedding will be (and that's SUPER fabulous!!)!!!

Thank you for joining us as we celebrate our marriage! We will need your help as friends and family to support and love us while we are learning the best ways to support and love each other! We could not be more excited for our lives together, and are very thankful that you want to celebrate with us!
