San Diego - 2007See you soon!Alice and the Rabbit.... don't ask!
Gale and Karen found each other one day in 2005 on Chemistry.com. Our first date was October 25, 2005 at the Rodeo at Lost Duchman Days in Apache Junction. We've been on the phone and together ever since.

Gale has taken Karen to the TDS Desert Safari and almost acclimated her to his jeepin' ways. Take a look at the pictures... we have upgraded to a Jeep TJ... WOW!! air conditioning... the jeep is still red and we have been exploring in Arizona... so many trails, so little time!

Karen managed to drag Gale into her favorite vacation... cruising... it's just not the same as the old Navy ship he remembers. He had such a great time back in September of 2007 that he proposed to Karen on Promanade deck at sunset. It was so beautiful, Karen said YES!

So here we are, getting ready for the big day. City house, country house, LOTS of stuff!
What do to... what to do! Yard sale?? hmmm
Well our wedding is going to be a very small ceremony in the Historic town of Florence Arizona on Friday, June 12, 2009. The wedding is at the Historic First Presbyterian Church of Florence Arizona that was built back in 1932. The church dates back to the early 1880's and the First Presbyterian Church in Phoenix was a missionary project of this church... so it's really old!

The Reception will follow on August 1, 2009 at the El Zaribah Shrine in Phoenix, Arizona.
Save the Date - AUGUST 1, 2009 - You are invited to a Celebration, Hawaiian Style!!

It's a PARTY, not a reception, so plan on having some fun! Wear you island outfits and bring your dancing sandals.

Where: El Zaribah Shrine - Red Fez Room
552 North 40th Street
Phoenix, AZ 85008

When: 5 o'clock in the evening

Our party is at the El Zaribah Shrine Temple that's located near the Phoenix International Airport, Sky Harbor. Check with Karen if you need hotel information.
All the usual things in Phoenix are here during the summer, but the costs are usually lower (golf, hiking, etc.)... don't worry, it's a Dry Heat! If you are intrested in staying at a resort, they are very reasonable this time of year.
