When we decided it was time to marry we spent a lot of time planning our wedding and honeymoon to be certain they would be perfect. And we were successful! Our first wedding was on May 4, 1985. It was a destination wedding on the grounds of the Smithville Mansion, an outdoor wedding in the garden. There was a lovely walkway lined with dogwood trees blooming with white blossoms, At the end of the aisle where we met to marry there were lovely pink azalea bushes. We had an arch decorated in flowers where we stood and exchanged our vows. The wedding was followed by a lovely reception. The next day we left by Amtrak from Philadelphia to our honeymoon in Walt Disney World. We were in love with each other and we fell in love with Disney World that week. We have gone there many, many times since our honeymoon. Next year we will be married 25 years and we want to renew our vows. Where else but at Walt Disney World, our favorite place in the world!

We hope to have a lovely reception following our wedding at Disney World. We are working on the details for both our Vow Renewal and our Reception.

Of course, Sonny and I will travel to Orlando via our favorite mode of travel -- Amtrak.

Sonny and Beverly have been in love with each other for nearly 30 years. In 2010 it will be 25 years of wedded bliss that we have shared. We would like to mark this milestone and honor it by renewing our vows at our favorite place -- Walt Disney World! We are in the planning stages of arranging a very small, intimate vow renewal celebration. Although we cannot invite all the people we love to join us at this joyous and magical event, we hope that you will join us in spirit and wish us well. We hope that you will follow all the exciting details here and in our wedding blog. We are looking forward to a magic destination "wedding" filled with pixie dust as only Disney can do!
