Our Story

We met at work where we became very good friends. There were five of us we would take lunch and go on breaks together. We discovered we liked talking to one another like we were intriqued with each other. We started talking on the phone every once in a while, then it turned into a couple times a day, then every chance we got. We became best friends feeling comfortable to share every detail of our lives with one another.

I love Norman so much his compassion, his ability to not judge others, his smile, his voice, conversation, I could go on for hours, but you would probably get bored. We have been dating for the past two years. Here's the other half of the story from my better half. :-) Well I'm sure Vanessa has already filled you in on the specifics of how, when, and where we met and became friends, later lovers for life. Let me tell you my side. I will be honest and tell you that I wasn't looking for love when she came along, but love has a way of finding you and showing you what you really need, and I needed Vanessa Shaunte Thompson. She is my soulmate. She is my biggest critic and my number one, yes, number one supporter. We compliment each other, we are like peanut butter and jelly, you can have them seperate but they were truly meant to be together. I love Vanessa's honesty, loyalty, and care and compassion for others.

Our Wedding

Norman and I were engaged July 11, 2009. It was a very special time for us that we shared with close friends and family. Two of our friends Henderson and Jeanette Scott decided they wanted to host our engagement party. We are so glad we let them, it was the most beautiful setting.

I can't even put into words the time and effort that went into making it special for us. My honey (Norman) got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I think we both wanted to cry, but we fought back the tears. Of course if you are viewing this site my answer was "yes, yes I will"

We will be married on the beautiful beaches of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We chose Jamaica because if anyone knows us we like to have fun. So we decided why not as the saying goes "kill two birds with one stone" Let's have fun and get married at the same time.

We sent out save the date notices to all our friends and family and would love to have as many of you that could make it join us for celebration.

I know many of you are saying this is an expensive trip, which is why we included a payment plan affordable to all.

The nuptuals will take place at 4:00 pm and we will go to dinner with our quest afterwards.
